We arrived for our holiday on September 6. The park amenities were outstanding. Facilities were always spotless, gardens and lawns immaculate – the best we have ever experienced in a camping/caravan park - and the staff were just brilliant.

Bit old fashioned for me. I prefer more modern facilities.

During our holiday, very strong winds swept through the South East coast from Brisbane through to Sydney and beyond. Our site was hit with 70km/h-plus winds, resulting in our marquee snapping in several places, other damage and camping items becoming airborne.

Perfect location with an excellently planned caravan park with huge sites. Lots of river views. Free Kayaking, Videos and pancakes every Monday.

Place was really good for the money. We got a decent sized room for 70 bucks! (Per night) Facilities are pretty good too. They have things for the kids like a pool with slide, a jumping pillow and a small mini golf course.

The staff at the park gave us two complimentary cabins to house my family for the remainder of our stay. They also arranged for the removal and storage of the debris. Their genuine concern for our safety and comfort was unbelievable.

Friday and Saturday bon fires. Well kept and has great weather in winter for Southern folk to enjoy and escape the cold southern winter.

This park, its staff (in particular - Casey), its facilities and its commitment to ensuring that people have a great tourism experience, even when things go a little pear pear-shaped, are a credit to the owners and the BIG4 brand. What a fantastic, living advertisement for the industry these people are!

My husband and I visited the BIG4 Solitary Islands Resort Park in late July to decide on a site that would accommodate our campsite and boat. During our day trip there, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and a delight to deal with including advising us to sign up with the BIG4 loyalty program. We subsequently booked a camp site for 10 days and a cabin for my parents for 4 days

The staff regularly checked on us and continued to offer their assistance.

On the day of departure, we had difficulty hitching our boat trailer to the car and positioning the jockey wheel correctly for our long drive home. Again, the staff, always on hand to assist, offered a ten-tonne Jack. We were able to secure the tow hitch to the tow ball and travel home safely.
